Blists Hill Victorian Christmas-Free Passes for Carers

A great opportunity for Carers. On 3rd & 4th December & 10th & 11th December carers have an opportunity to be transported to a bygone era. As you stroll the town: listen to tales of life more than 100 years ago as you call-in to cosy cottages, hum along with the  seasonal music from brass bands & choirs and tour the Town in a horse drawn cart.

Would a visit be complete without Father Christmas? No so visit him in his grotto. Pet the reindeer before they embark on their mammoth journey around the world on Christmas Eve.

The air will be filled with seasonal music and laughter around the Town with brass bands, carol singers and Punch & Judy shows. Don’t miss the dastardly villain, his principal enemy and the comical quack doctor, all dressed in garish garb in our traditional Shropshire Christmas Mummers Play.

The Carers Centre at The Glebe Centre, Wellington TF1 1JP have a limited number of free passes that carers can use to enjoy the festivities. Carers may book up to 2 passes each. These must be booked in advance by Monday 28th November. Please telephone us on 01952 240209

Please note: the passes will have to be collected from and returned to the Carers Centre as follows: collect on Thursday 1st or Friday 2nd and return on Monday 5th December or collect on Thursday 8th or Friday 9th and return on Monday 12th December.
