Accessing a Smear Test (Cervical Screening) with a Physical Disability

Jo’s cervical cancer trust (https://www.jostrust.org.uk) have launched a campaign called Smear for Smear . They want to know about your experiences in accessing cervical screening (smear test), as well as what provisions are available to you to enable you to access screening.

More than one in four women don’t take up their cervical screening invitation with attendance at an all-time low. For women with a physical disability there can be additional barriers and inequalities to accessing the test. ie Is your GP surgery accessible? Do they have a hoist?

Sharing your experiences with Jo’s Trust will help them form a report that aims to raise awareness of the issue.

To take part in the survey, click here: https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/LTKZ6LZ (Your answers will be confidential and will not identify you.

This survey should only take 5 minutes of your time and if you have any questions please contact media@jostrust.org.uk
