Oswestry & District Access Group is a voluntary group that has been working for over 25 years to improve access and facilities for all those who are either resident in or visiting Oswestry.
In particular, they are focused on supporting:
- mothers with young children
- people with disabilities
- partially sighted people
- hard of hearing people
The group works with the local authorities, providers of goods and services, and other organisations to meet the needs and solve the problems of access throughout the Oswestry area.
Meetings are held between 10.30 am and 12 noon on the second Tuesday of each month, except August and December, when there are social events. The Guild Hall, Bailey Head. Oswestry SY11 1PZ
Contact the group if you are:
- having difficulties gaining access to shops or other amenities
- a carer concerned about access issues
- someone who would just like to help make a difference
