Rooftop Theatre and Ludlow Assembly Rooms return this Christmas with their very own barmy version of Cinderella.

Taking the traditional story and giving it a good shake ‘til all the Buttons come off, the Ugly Sisters try out their best dance moves, whilst Prince Charming gets to slap his thigh in full panto tradition.

Will Cinders get to the Cabaret? Can her Fairly Useless Fairy Godmother manager to save the day? What’s the Wicked Queen doing in the wrong story?

A cycle coach is on hand and we have access to a number of adapted bikes as well as Tandems, Tricycles, and two wheel bicycles so there is a bike for everyone.

Event description: This is our last fundraiser & awareness day for 2017.
Sainsbury’s Telford have offered us a bag pack/collection at their store & we are grateful that we have this opportunity.
Why raise money? A lot of our work goes on without people realising that to maintain this website, it costs money! We have to have insurance for all our events including our quarterly meetings. we have to pay for meeting room hire, refreshments etc & there are invites to go to those who cannot access details on this site. A newsletter to pay for. Postage, stationery, toner for our laser printer, paper costs mount up. We need equipment, banners, usb pens for storage, publicity material and the shopping list grows.

We hope you will support us if you are shopping in Sainsbury’ s Telford today.

Event description: A three-week course looking at a variety of print making techniques including Intaglio and Monoprinting with a focus on Collagraphs.
Preparing and making Collagraph plates with a variety of materials to give interesting relief textures. Whilst plates are drying there will be an opportunity to make other prints with monoprinting onto glass plates and scratching out Intaglio plates on plexi-glass or similar. Experimenting with the printing press and rollers. Inking and printing prepared collagraphs on a variety of papers and fabric.

This course is an opportunity for carers and gives you opportunity for some “me time”

The dates for this course are:

  • Monday 30th October.
  • Monday 6th November.
  • Monday 13th November.
  • Monday 20th November.

Free to carers. There may be a small cost for materials on some courses.
