Event description: As part of the celebrations for our organisation’s centenary Telford Lions are promoting a concert – 100 years of Music at 7.00p.m. The Place, Oakengates Thursday 6th April 2017.
We are inviting local groups of senior citizens and carers to attend, tickets cost just £1 and admission costs will be returned to attendees via a free seat number raffle.

Music will be provided by Jackfield Brass band and Shifnal Male Voice Choir.

Free tea, coffee and cakes will be served at the interval.

Tickets are available from The Place although as the theatre charges a fee per booking it may be advantageous for groups to block book their tickets. Please inform the booking office if anyone needs a wheelchair space.
Any group who would like to promote themselves can have a listing in the programme- simply complete the attached pro forma and return it before 28th February.

The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust Special Edition Newsletter

The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust have issued a special edition of our “Putting Patients First” newsletter. This edition focuses on our Sustainable Services Programme and provides a greater level of detail around the preferred option re Royal Shrewsbury Hospital and Princess Royal Hospital .The newsletter explains, under the preferred option, what would be on each hospital site as plans are being made to provide two vibrant hospitals for today & future generations.

Usually we meet at Roy Fletcher Centre, 12-17 Cross Hill but today we will meet at the Heritage Centre at 2 pm for a walk. Event description: 4 opportunities for you to get support & advice over a coffee! Shropshire PACCs & Autism West Midlands are hosting these Coffee Mornings so if you would like to seek advice from other parents and carers in a relaxed and informal setting this is an opportunity for you?

You have chance to meet up with other parents who have children with disabilities or additional needs, who are in mainstream or specialist educational settings or are home educated. This is an opportunity to share information, experiences and offer support to each other.

Cost: Free. No need to book, just turn up.

Event description: England Talent Day is an integral part of The FA’s Disability Talent Pathway, identifying young players aged between 12-16 years old and is one of several days which will be taking place. The programme is quality assured to support the development of young talented disabled players, offering a clear pathway.

The pathway aims to recruit players that can progress to FA Regional Talent Centres, FA Emerging Talent Programme, England Development Squads and England Elite Squads as highlighted within The FA’s Disability Player Pathway and as shown below:
