      This event is being organised by Allcare Care Agency-as part of their charitable giving for 2011. They are giving all the proceeds to Shropshire Disability Network. The money will be used for specific items of equipment, (eg digital video camera) that is needed by SDN/and or the Outreach Project to provide printed copies of the online newsletter to those with no IT facilities.

 There will be a make-up demonstration, by the same person who will do the make up for the models taking part at the Show. She is from the well known High Street Store-Boots!

 In addition there will be a raffle with some good prizes!

 This will be a great evening-with many bargains available- Why not get a group of friends together for a lovely night out and ensure you get your tickets by contacting any of the following;

 Date:     Monday 10^th October 2011 –  1.30 – 4.30 pm

 Where:   Council Chamber, Shirehall, Shrewsbury. SY2 6DN

 (please note that larger motor scooters will not fit into the lifts at Shirehall.  SDN have therefore arranged to have wheelchairs available for people to transfer to if they wish to attend.  Scooters will be left in the underground secure car park and you will be assisted to access the wheelchair, lift and council chamber if you wish.  Please let us know when booking if you think you may wish to take up the offer of this service.)

 Shropshire Disability Network is holding its own debate about how the “cuts” are affecting you-here in Shropshire. Please come and tell us-as a Carer, as a family member or as a person with a disability your concerns, worries-Have you had your benefit cut? Are you going to appeal? We would like to know and help you in some way.

Val Lewis, who many of you will know, will be our facilitator for the day.

Registration costs £100 per team of 10 and organisers are looking for teams from businesses or community groups to take part. This is the second year Hope House have held this event in Shrewsbury but a first for Telford. The event is being sponsored by Heinz and coordinated by the Knockout Roadshow.

So why not come and join the fun-by taking part in games such as Wet & Wild, The Wedge, The Equaliser and many more. All monies raised will be going to Hope House Hospice.
