Tanni Grey-Thompson has been a vociferous peer trying to stop the more extreme proposals under the Government’sWelfare Reform Bill. In this video she talks about her concerns and the way that the government have prevented further objections by implementing a piece of legislation which requires the Lords not to object to the reforms because of the financial implications for Government.
